About Us: The Blind Children's Resource Center

The Blind Children's Resource Center is the website of Parents of Blind Children-NJ. POBC-NJ is an affiliate of the National Organization of Parents of Blind Children, a division of the National Federation of the Blind.

Our association with these organizations offers us many opportunities—blind/visually impaired adult role models and mentors for our children; the combined wisdom, resources, and support of 50,000 blind people across the nation; contact with thousands of informed parents and teachers; access to cutting edge information on technology; links to the most progressive voices in education; the ability to make comparisons regarding education services on a national basis; and, when necessary, the powerful force of collective action.

The parents and teachers who visit this site will most likely be looking for ways to get or keep the development and education of their blind child on track.
